I've always worked hard and did what I thought I was supposed to do, in order to be successful in life. I ended up working in retail / childcare management, after spending 4 years in University, taking home a degree in Early Childhood Studies. Whilst I always enjoyed working and took a lot of satisfaction from it, once I had children this changed in a way I'd have never imagined. My heart strings were constantly being pulled between wanting to have a successful career vs being a hands on Mum.
I was working hard but spending so much time away from my boys, the more I worked, the more I struggled to look after myself. I never seemed to be able to get ahead, always skipping meals, lacking goodness, constantly tired, run down, I was overweight and was ultimately lacking any zest for life. The best way I can describe it, it was like groundhog day.
Even though I was working full time, childcare and debts meant I was broke and always stressed because of it. I knew for things to change I had to do something about it. So I did, out of desperation and the hope to gain some flexibility to earn whilst being present with the children, I set up my own childcare agency.
It was here that I found our opportunity, I was at a wedding fayre, sharing my idea for wedding creche's for children. I met someone who represented a healthy lifestyle online business. I needed to take more care of myself and within a few weeks I'd started on the products and programme. The change in me was unbelievable. Not only weight loss but massively noticed an increase in energy, more get up and go. It felt like I was getting the old Rhi back..
I decided to start this as a sideline business as I thought there are so many other busy Mums like me, who needed to find out about this & feel great too. Additionally, I was hoping I could make some extra money so I could afford more family fun times too. There was always too much month and too little money, so even an extra few hundred a month would've made e a significant difference to our quality of family life. Another reason I decided to get started, as selfish as it may sound to some, was to have something just "for me", for my sanity, somewhere I could be part of a community and make new likeminded friends too.
I had zero knowledge, lacked confidence and had no experience in this field, but what I did know, was I wanted things to change so that was my starting point. 6 months in, I made the decision to close my childcare agency so that I could give my full attention to my Miss Ambition venture because I was loving it so much.
For the first 12 months I was earning anything from £250 - £600 a month (not including bonuses). Which isn't a lot to some, but as I was able to earn this whilst being around my 2 year old twin boys with no childcare to pay and being present for special moments, I was extremely grateful to have found an opportunity that could provide me with the opportunity to have the best of both worlds.
It took me 15 months of working this business from my phone, for 1-2 hours across my day, to build it to a full time income level. I used the time I'd have usually spent on social media aimlessly scrolling, into time well spent building a business.
Before my 2 year anniversary with the company I had cleared all our family debt, was working from home or from anywhere I chose as long as I had my phone, all on my own terms, earning a full time income and have done ever since.
I didn't have to return to employment when my boys started school, I could stay working from home and continue to be a hands on mum, all because of the hour here and there I put in when I was at home with them all them years ago and continued to do when they started school.
2024 makes it my 10th year anniversary with the company, my boys are now 13. During this time, I've been a school run mum, been present during all school holidays, we've travelled so much, had heaps of quality time together and made unforgettable memories, making the most of the boys ages through the years, all because I said yes to this business in 2014 and ran with it.
I've grown so much as a person during this time, had so many incredible experiences, been on trips of a lifetime, made friends for life. And best of all., I've built our #1 Team Community, helping others achieve whatever it is they want out of life and having heaps of fun along the way. Our Team Vision is clear, there's so many more people out there that need our products & opportunity and I'm here to lead us from the front and develop strong leaders along the way.
Zoe Chittenden a busy and successful business owner has recently celebrated her 4 year anniversary with us, here she talks about her experiences so far working her business and helping women all over who have experienced the same struggles she has.
"From Doubt to Determination: My 4-Year Journey . When I first heard about this opportunity, I was skeptical. I doubted myself and felt I didn’t have the time to commit. My life was already overflowing ~ balancing a demanding corporate job, a bustling family life, and studying for my degree . How could I possibly add anything else to my spinning plates? But something inside me told me to take the leap. I loved the products and the results I was seeing, and I’ve always had a passion for helping others. So, I asked myself, "Why not combine the two?" Now, here I am, four years later, looking back on a journey that’s been nothing short of incredible. I’ve celebrated promotions, earned bonuses, and ticked off events and treats from my vision board that once seemed out of reach. But the rewards don’t stop there. I’ve built lasting friendships that span across the country and even beyond. One of the most significant changes has been within myself. My mindset, confidence and self-belief have grown in ways I never thought possible. I’ve invested in my personal development and finally moved myself up on my own priority list. Today, I’m not just making memories with my triangle; I’m also empowering others to reach their goals. This journey has transformed my life, and I’m excited to continue making a difference ~ both for myself and for those around me"
Ashleigh joined Team Ambition in August 2023, after realising the cost of living was taking away some of her fun money that she had previously used for holidays.
She started this business around busy mum & work life so she could feel better in herself, help others with the same & also be rewarded for this by being paid to do so. Some will frown upon network marketing, making money from helping others, in our eyes, at least we’re introducing people a great gift in life, the gift of better health & feel good vibes.
Since Ashleigh got started a year ago, she’s made over £2k, dropped 2 dress sizes & helped so many other women feel incredible along the way. Ash defs enjoys life along the way & lives it with balance. Love what she’s been able to do with the extra £ for her family travels already.
Shona joined Team Ambition 2 years ago ago, when she was pregnant with her 3rd child, already a Mum of twins aged 18 months at the time. She lives in the highlands of Scotland & loves attending team events when she can. She's had an incredible journey with the products & programme, starting off when she was pregnant and then onto a post partum journey after.
The way her confidence has grown since joining our team is remarkable. We tend to start this business for additional income but gain more than we could ever have imagined. Such as confidence, personal growth, friendships & fun. Shona is building the foundations for an incredible future within our team & has already reached promotions & advanced in the compensation plan picking up bonuses along the way.
"One of my biggest dreams was to take my kids to Disneyland Paris and this year I made it happen, thanks to my side line business. When I started back in November 2023, I just wanted to lose weight & feel better in myself so I enquired about the products, because I knew these worked before, when asking Rhiannon about them she asked if I wanted to join the team community to make some additional money, As it was before Xmas, I said yes because all extra pennies help, especially being a single mum of 4 kids.
In my first month of joining I hit my first promotion, which I was so happy about. One of the things Rhi asked when I started, "What would you like to do with what you earn, what goal would you love to strive for?" My reply was; "I want to take my kids to Disney, in May this year I took them and It was absolutely out this world I would forever be grateful for this business in helping me earn money towards this. All in my own time too no set work hours days etc all at my own pace, around my busy job as a hairdresser and the 4 children, if I can do it, anyone can. Just the beginning of an amazing journey, next years holiday for my children is my next goal, woo!"
